Update 18.10.:
Im dritten Quartal stieg der Umsatz des Internetkonzerns Google um 12 Prozent auf 14,9 Mrd. Dollar (10,9 Mrd Euro). Google verdient an bezahlten Links bei Suchtreffern genauso wie an grafischen Werbeanzeigen, sogenannten Bannern. Nach Abzug aller Kosten blieb unterm Strich ein Gewinn von 3,0 Mrd. Dollar übrig, ein Plus von 36 Prozent zum Vorjahreszeitraum.
