Update 09.08:
Die Deutsche Bank hat das Kursziel für Infineon nach Zahlen von 7,00 auf 7,20 Euro angehoben und die Einstufung auf "Hold" belassen. Er habe wegen der im dritten Geschäftsquartal besser als erwartet ausgefallenen Gewinnmargen des Chipherstellers seine Gewinnprognosen leicht angehoben, schrieb Analyst Kai Korschelt in einer Studie vom Donnerstag.

Infineon kommt schneller wieder in Schwung als erwartet. Bereits zum zweiten Mal in diesem Jahr schraubte der Konzern seine Prognose für das laufende Jahr nach oben und überraschte auch im vergangenen dritten Quartal positiv.
Im zurückliegenden Quartal verbesserte sich die Auslastung bei Infineon weiter: Der Umsatz legte zwischen April und Ende Juni um 11 Prozent im Vergleich zum Vorquartal auf 1,022 Mrd. Euro zu. Das Segmentergebnis, das die betriebliche Entwicklung widerspiegeln soll, schnellte um 72 Prozent auf 117 Millionen Euro nach oben. Unter dem Strich blieb ein Gewinn von 77 Millionen Euro - nach gerade einmal 33 Millionen im Quartal zuvor. Damit übertraf der Konzern die Schätzungen der Analysten teils deutlich.
