Die Analysten von Goldman Sachs haben das Kursziel des heimischen Stahlkonzerns voestalpine von 31,00 Euro auf 40,00 Euro erhöht. Das Anlagevotum "Neutral" wurde jedoch beibehalten. Der geschätzte Gewinn je Aktie 2010/11 wurde von 2,97 Euro auf 3,44 Euro angehoben, für 2011/12 wurde die Schätzung von 3,90 Euro auf 4,70 Euro nach oben revidiert.
Als Grund gaben die Experten die positiven Aussichten im Stahlsegment an, teilweise würden diese jedoch durch einen negativen Ausblick im Segment "Eisenbahn" abgeschwächt. Der Absatzmarkt dieses Segments befinde sich primär im Bereich der Infrastruktur. Aufgrund verstärkter Sparmaßnahmen der westlichen Regierungen könnte die Nachfrage in diesem Segment daher nachlassen, hieß es von den Analysten von Goldman Sachs.
