Video-streaming pioneer Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ: NFLX) has made a habit of blowing past its internal forecasts and the estimates of analysts, and this quarter was no different. The company produced record setting subscriber additions for the just completed third quarter as well as revenue that exceeded expectations.
Netflix has been making big bets on both original content and its international expansion, and those appear to be paying off.
