Vestas, der weltweit größte Hersteller von Windkraftanlagen, hat am Mittwoch ein niedriger als erwartetes Betriebsergebnis für das dritte Quartal bekannt gegeben und seine Prognose für die Betriebsgewinnmarge für das Gesamtjahr gesenkt.


Das Betriebsergebnis vor Sondereinflüssen sank um 21 % auf 325 Millionen Euro (376 Millionen US-Dollar) und blieb damit hinter den 381 Millionen Euro zurück, die von 16 Analysten in einer vom Unternehmen zusammengestellten Umfrage prognostiziert wurden.


Das Unternehmen senkte die Erwartungen an seine Betriebsgewinnmarge von zuvor 5-7 % auf 4 % – weit entfernt von seinem langfristigen Ziel einer Marge von 10 %. ($1 = 0,8633 Euro)
