Zukunfts Phantasie
Varta (Vertrieb, Aufladung, Reparatur transportabler Akkumulatoren) ist ein traditionsreicher deutscher Batteriekonzern gegründet Ende 19. Jahrhundert. Zwischenzeitlich aufgespalten und verkauft.
Durch Umstrukturierung der VARTA-Beteiligungen ist die VARTA AG heute wieder die Holding-Gesellschaft der gesamten VARTA-Gruppe. Die VARTA AG gliedert sich seitdem in die VARTA Microbattery GmbH sowie die VARTA Storage GmbH als operative Einheiten und die VW-VM Forschungsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG als Kooperation mit der Volkswagen AG.
Am 19. Oktober 2017 erfolgte der Börsengang im regulierten Markt (Prime Standard, Emissionspreis von 17,50 Euro, damit wurde der Konzern mit 668,5 Mio. Euro bewertet)
Langfristig sollte vor allem im Microbattery Bereich aber auch im Speicherbereich und im Automobilbereich steigende Umsätze generiert werden können.
