Im Schatten der Umsatzwarnung von Cree Inc. geht es für Aixtron heute wieder mal abwärts. Doch die News der letzten Tage aus dem Hause Aixtron sind vielversprechend. Großkunde EpiLED hat sich mit Blick auf die Großserienproduktion sehr positiv zur neuen Anlage von Aixtron geäußert. Da könnte also bald ein neuer Auftrag ins Haus stehen.
Cree beklagt den Preisverfall bei LEDs. Aixtron sollte dies aber in die Karten spielen, da daurch der Siegeszug der kleinen Energiesparwunder auf den Massenmärkten angeheizt wird. Und genau dies brauchen die Herzogenrather, um ihre Anlagen wieder abzusetzen.
