Grossauftrag

Die Telekom-Tochter T-Systems zieht einen weiteren Millionen-Auftrag an Land. Für den europäischen Flugzeugbauer und Rüstungskonzern EADS wird T-Systems rund 150.000 PC-Arbeitsplatzsysteme betreiben.

Bislang betreut T-Systems bereits die Arbeitsplatzrechner bei der EADS-Tochter Airbus. Nunmehr schließt der Gesamtkonzern für sechs Jahre einen Vertrag für alle mehr als 100 europäischen EADS-Standorte ab, um die IT-Infrastruktur zu vereinheitlichen.

Angaben über den Auftragswert machte T-Systems nicht. Ein Deal dieser Größenordnung und Laufzeit hat im IT-Outsourcingsektor üblicherweise einen Gesamtwert im niedrigen dreistelligen Millionen-Euro-Bereich.

Es ist bereits der dritte Großauftrag innerhalb weniger Wochen, den T-Systems in den vergangenen Wochen vermeldete. Der harte Konkurrenzkampf im Sektor drückt allerdings die Margen.

Zuvor hatte T-Systems bereits die Verlängerung eines Vertrages mit dem Öl-Multi Shell über weltweite Rechenzentrumsleistungen sowie einen Großauftrag vom U.S. Klinikbetreiber Presbyterian erhalten.
