Absatzeinbruch

Infineon wird im laufenden dritten Quartal voraussichtlich weniger umsetzen als im Vorquartal und dabei eine Marge von rund zwölf Prozent erzielen. Damit werde die Geschäftsentwicklung unter den ursprünglichen Erwartungen liegen. Als Grund führt Infineon die gegenwärtigen Unwägbarkeiten der Weltkonjunktur an. "Die Marge wurde belastet durch fehlende Deckungsbeiträge infolge des unter den Erwartungen liegenden Absatzes."

Für das vierte Quartal rechnet der Konzern mit einem Umsatz und einer Gesamtergebnismarge auf dem Niveau des dritten Quartals.
