Der börsenotierte Vorarlberger Leuchtenhersteller Zumtobel konnte seinen Nettogewinn in den ersten drei Geschäftsquartalen 2010/11 wie erwartet mehr als verdoppeln. Im Zeitraum Mai bis Jänner stieg das Periodenergebnis von 21,3 Mio. Euro auf 52,6 Mio. Euro, und das Betriebsergebnis (EBIT) wuchs um rund zwei Drittel auf 66,7 (40,5) Mio. Euro. Bereinigt stieg das EBIT um 29,2 Prozent auf 64,4 Mio. Euro, teilte Zumtobel Montagfrüh ad-hoc mit. Der Umsatz lag in den drei Quartalen mit 908,9 Mio. Euro um 10,2 Prozent höher und soll im Gesamtjahr (per Ende April) rund 1,2 Mrd. Euro ausmachen. Die bereinigte EBIT-Marge - Ende Jänner bei 7,1 (6,0) Prozent - soll dann über 6 Prozent liegen. Nach zweieinhalb Jahren sei auch das spätzyklische Leuchtengeschäft wieder zurückgekehrt, so Zumtobel.
