Zumtobels Gewinn stieg um 59 Prozent auf 39,6 Millionen Euro, teilte das Unternehmen am Donnerstag mit. Der Umsatz legte um acht Prozent auf 615,4 Millionen Euro zu.

Vor allem der Verkauf von Komponenten für die Beleuchtungstechnik habe das Geschäft angetrieben. Auf diese Sparte entfällt rund ein Drittel von Zumtobels Geschäft. Der Verkauf LED-basierter Produkte wachse ebenfalls stark.

Für das gesamte laufende Geschäftsjahr erwartet der Leuchtenhersteller 1,2 Milliarden Euro Umsatz. Die Marge beim Betriebsergebnis werde, bereinigt um Einmaleffekte, zwischen fünf und sechs Prozent liegen - nach 7,9 Prozent im ersten Halbjahr.

Update 24.01.2011:

Die Analysten der UniCredit haben ihr Kursziel für die Aktien der heimischen Zumtobel leicht von 22 auf 23 Euro nach oben revidiert. Unverändert blieb hingegen die Kaufempfehlung "buy" für die Aktien des Leuchtenkonzerns.
