News: BYD is down over 4% after reporting abysmal Q3 results.
BYD is down 19% since my report in April (see attached) - during the market low - where I predicted that BYD was overrated.
I shared with investor based on a quantitative review: "Too many investor get too impressed simply by looking at vehicle sales numbers (a rather shortsighted metric). and explained in detail all the red flags in BYD.
In May I wrote to investors (who were wavering): "it's clear BYD too is struggling") and share another financial deep dive (see attached).
Today we found out:
Revenue down 3%
Earnings down 33%
EPS down 36%

... aber außer meiner keine SELL. Ich hoffe ihr habt die Aktie nicht wirklich, denn der Trend geht nach unten. Im Oktober schrumpft der Absatz sowohl bei Autos als auch bei Batterien, BYDs ursprünglichem Kerngeschäft. Nach diesen News müsste der Kurs m.E. eigentlich um 30% fallen.
