Alcoa Inc.
Alcoa ist trotz der guten Zahlen derzeit ganz bestimmt kein Kauf, denn die weltweite Nachfrage nach Aluminium ist zwischen Januar und August um 17% gesunken - gleichzeitig ist das Angebot gestiegen.
Dies wirkt sich tendenziell preisdrückend aus, und deshalb sind fallende Aluminiumpreise im laufenden Quartal nicht so unwahrscheinlich. Dies ist für den Aluminiumproduzenten Alcoa eher schlecht. Auch der Vorstandsvorsitzende von Alcoa (Klaus Kleinfeld, war bis 2007 noch bei Siemens) deutete auf das Risiko steigender Energiepreise. Und die Aluminiumherstellung ist SEHR energieintensiv.
