Die Zeit der Verbrennungsmotoren geht schneller zu Ende als gedacht , und Toyota ist nicht darauf vorbereitet, soweit ich das einschätzen kann.
Wenn man über Toyota redet, muss einem klar sein, dass Toyota voll und ganz auf die Technologie der Hybride mit Verbrennungsmotor setzt.
Nur ist es praktisch unmöglich Hybrid-Autos unter 25 000 USD oder EUR herzustellen, die dann auch langlebig und günstig im Unterhalt sein müssen. Bei reinen Elektroautos ist das leicht möglich, und diese Autos werden, zumindest in China, jedes Jahr, immer besser.

NEWS: Toyota disclosed "inadequate data in pedestrian and occupant protection tests".
The investigation is "still in progress" but identified affected models include variants of the Corolla, Axio and Yaris (some of Toyota's very high volume models!).
This scandal comes only months after another safety related scandal at Toyota's Daihatsu subsidiary which was found to have tampered with safety tests for 30 years! (you read this right, 30!).
