A Rich Perspective

The short-sited (we would say, narcissistic) machinations of the world’s uber-rich, who have been designing the global rules of finance exclusively for their own benefit, are approaching a tipping-point where the base of the economic pyramid, that has been drained and starved into anorexia, will be unable to support the bloated top which, ironically, is them. Where do they think their wealth comes from, if not from the producer level of the economic ecosystem?

They don’t even want to pay taxes…..they can pay for their own education and healthcare, so why should they pay for anyone else’s (even though they would be paying with money stolen from the very people who need the education and healthcare)….hence, tax-dodge businesses like “the Panama Papers” are smeared across the globe.

We are more than cognizant that we make our living by extracting value from the casino, not adding it. Which is why we feel very strongly that the producer level of the pyramid must be nurtured, fed (no pun intended) and watered if we are to continue with our business, and frankly, all business depends on a healthy base.

All revolutions start with unbearable disparity; French revolution, Russian revolution, and of course, the American revolution, caused by the granddaddy of inequality — the economic system known as slavery.

The level of disparity is becoming unbearable to an increasingly large proportion of the population. This is concerning to us.
