Summary
- Vista Gold filed its updated PFS last month for its Mt. Todd Project, with the project showing a Post-Tax NPV (5%) of $927 million using a $1,400/oz gold price.
- While there were reasonable improvements from the January 2018 Study, the elephant in the room continues to be the massive capex required to put Mt. Todd in production.
- I continue to see the stock as an Avoid, given that the only feasible way forward is to partner on development with a major gold company.
