Potash Corp's outlook upgraded to positive from stable - S&P
Standard&Poor's Ratings Services has upgraded its outlook on fertilizer company Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan Inc. to positive from stable reflecting expectations of strong cash flow generation in the near term given the tight market conditions for potash. S&P said the positive outlook reflects its expectation that Potash Corp is in a 'great' position to capitalise on the current 'strong' pricing environment. The ratings reflect Potash Corp's leading market position in potash, diversification in three fertilizers, its low leverage, and strong cash flow generation, the ratings agency said. S&P also affirmed Potash Corp's ratings, including its 'BBB+' long-term corporate credit rating.
