The commissioning of the Chemin Perré wind farm brings to 146 MW the capacity operated for own account by FUTUREN in France

Located in the Aube department, in France, on the Nogentais community of communes, on the territory of the Montpothier and Villenauxe-la-Grande municipalities, the Chemin Perré wind farm comprises 9 wind turbines of 2 MW, for a cumulative capacity of 18 MW.

Construction works started in September 2015 and ended successfully as planned. Just commissioned, the wind farm now generates green electricity, that will cover the yearly domestic electricity needs of more than 21,000 households.

This commissioning brings to 732 MW the installed capacity operated by FUTUREN, of which 361 MW are for own account.

In France, FUTUREN operates 74 wind turbines for its own account, for a cumulative installed capacity of 146 MW.

The Chemin Perré wind farm is the first facility commissioned by FUTUREN in the Aube department. Meanwhile, the Group is actively pursuing the construction of the 13 MW Les Monts wind farm, located in the same department. The installation of the turbines begun recently. The commissioning of this wind farm is planned for January 2017.
