THEOLIA has closed financing for a 15 MW wind project in France

The Magremont project is located in the towns of Beauval and Naours, in the Somme department, in France. It comprises 6 wind turbines with a nominal capacity of 2.5 MW, representing a total capacity of 15 MW for the farm.

After the launch of the construction works in September 2011, THEOLIA has closed the financing of this project, according to the planning. This non-recourse long term loan is secured by future cash-flows that will be generated by the wind farm.

It is reminded that the major part of THEOLIA’s financial debt is project financing without recourse or with limited recourse to the shareholder. The reimbursement of each project financing is secured by the operating wind farm for its life span.

The commissioning of the Magremont wind farm is expected for the end of 2012.
