Shares of fuboTV (NYSE: FUBO) were soaring today in response to Friday night's news that a judge has temporarily blocked a sports streaming service joint venture, Venu, from Walt Disney, , and Warner Bros. Discovery.
The new service was expected to challenge and potentially supersede fuboTV, which has struggled to gain traction since economies reopened after the lockdown period of the COVID-19 pandemic.
As of 11:43 a.m. ET, the stock was up 29.7%.
