Why Universal Display Shares Recovered Sharply in March
Shares of OLED materials and technology owner Universal Display (NASDAQ: OLED) rose by 11.8% in March, according to data provided by S&P Global Market Intelligence. However, the stock price's upward move during the month was anything but smooth. Universal Display's shares were in free-fall at the beginning of March after the fourth-quarter earnings report it delivered in mid-February disappointed investors. It didn't help that there was a general market sell-off in technology stocks and the technology-heavy NASDAQ index going on at the same time.
