Why Tesla Stock Just Popped 4%
Shares of electric car maker Tesla's(NASDAQ: TSLA) stock popped more than 5% in early trading Friday, and they remain up a healthy 4% as of 11:15 a.m. EST after the company released a deliveries and production update this morning.
As Tesla advised, in Q4 2019 it produced a total of 104,891 Model S, 3, and X vehicles and delivered 112,000 units. Total deliveries for the year amounted to approximately 367,500 vehicles, a 50% increase over 2018 deliveries "and in line with our full year guidance," said the company.
