On Thursday, Skillz (NYSE: SKLZ) attracted some bullish investors with the announcement of a new game. The company's shares promptly experienced a bump, closing the day 1.3% higher.

The game is a mobile title that's the latest entry in the Big Buck Hunter franchise. Called Big Buck Hunter: Marksman, it's a first-person shooter (FPS) game with a hunting theme. Skillz, a mobile video games platform specialist, created the new game in partnership with the franchise's developer, Play Mechanix.
