Why Sears Holdings Stock Slumped Today
Shares of Sears Holdings (NASDAQ: SHLD) were sliding today in a broad-based sell-off in department store stocks after much of the industry reported earnings at the end of last week.
The stock closed down 9.9% today, while J.C. Penney was down 6.9%, Kohl's stock was off 4.3%, and both Macy's and Nordstrom gave up 3.3%.
