Why Plug Power's Shares Popped 10.1% Today
Shares of Plug Power (NASDAQ: PLUG) jumped as much as 12.1% in trading Wednesday after releasing third-quarter results. Shares closed up 10.1% for the day on more than four times the normal volume.
Revenue was up 6% over a year ago to $56.4 million, and net loss rose from $15.6 million a year ago to $21.2 million, or $0.09 per share. On an adjusted basis, the loss was $0.08 per share, which met analyst expectations.
