Shares of fuel cell and "green hydrogen" producer Plug Power (NASDAQ: PLUG) took a hit this morning on news that the renewable power pioneer is getting some additional competition in Europe.

As of 11:20 a.m. EST, Plug Power stock has retreated 2.4% from last week's close.
