Why Dogecoin Is Sinking Today
Dogecoin (CRYPTO: DOGE) is falling in Friday's trading. The cryptocurrency's token price was down 5.2% over the previous 24 hours of trading as of 1:45 p.m. ET. Meanwhile, Bitcoin and Ethereum were both down 2.5%.
Investors are continuing to take profits on cryptocurrencies on the heels of a huge valuation surge that's taken place over the last several months. News that sold substantial Bitcoin holdings in the second quarter may also be weighing on Dogecoin today.
