Why Anthem Disappointed With Its Q4 Results
Anthem (NYSE: ANTM) disappointed investors in 2020. The health insurance stock gained 6%, but that was well below the 16% return for the S&P 500 index. And Anthem isn't off to a great start in 2021 so far.
There were hopes that could change with Anthem reporting its fourth-quarter results before the market opened on Wednesday. However, the healthcare stock slid nearly 7% in early trading after announcing its results. Here are the highlights from Anthem's Q4 update.
