Better Buy: Western Digital vs. Taiwan Semiconductor
Just like the rest of the stock market, the chips are down. I'm talking about semiconductors, of course, not Pringles or poker.
While it's not unexpected that semiconductors have been hit recently, it is surprising that chip stocks are only down as much as they are. Usually, semiconductors are extremely cyclical, with soaring highs and crashing lows. Yet semiconductor stocks have actually held up slightly better than the overall market for the past month, even amid the scary coronavirus sell-off.
