That's compared to the S&P 500's 6.3% gain. The industry's work in potential coronavirus vaccines and therapies have lifted some stocks. But even those that aren't involved in coronavirus research offer growth opportunities due to strong products.
Here, I'll talk about three biotech stocks I would buy right now -- and keep for the long term. Vertex Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: VRTX) is trading at a bargain considering its product portfolio and earnings to come. Amgen (NASDAQ: AMGN) is beginning a new phase of growth.
