Impfstoff für Hepatitis B
VBI ist ein eher neuer Player der die Börsenhülle von Levon Resources verwendet. Obwohl sie noch relativ neu sind, haben sie bereits eine sehr beeindruckende Pipeline an Impfstoffen vorzuweisen und mit Ihrem Sci-B-Vac auch schon eine potentielle cash-cow.
Sci-B-Vac ist der weltweit einzige zugelassen Trivalent-Impfstoff für Hepatitis B und wird bereits in 11 Ländern (inkl. Israel) vertrieben. In den USA stehen sie unmittelbar vor dem Abschluss der Phase III und somit vor der Zulassung. Nach der Zulassung in den USA, Europa und Kanada sollte hier bereits ein ansehnlicher cash-flow in Gang kommen.
Des Weiteren arbeiten sie in Kooperation mit Brii Biosciences an einem Immuntherapeutischen Medikament zur Behandlung von chronischer Hepatitis B. Weitere Impfstoffe u.a. gegen das Zika-Virus befinden sich in Phase I.
Die (noch) verhaltene Marktkapitalisierung von 55 Mio $ drüfte sich bereits im Vorfeld der Veröffentlichung der Phase III Studie zu Sci-B-Vac im Januar 2020 erledigen.
Ich riskier hier mal eine kleine Position.

James analyst Steven Seedhouse initiated coverage of VBI Vaccines with an Outperform rating and $3 price target. The company's Sci-B-Vac, a prophylactic hepatitis B virus vaccine, achieved both primary endpoints in the recently completed Phase 3 study, Seedhouse tells investors in a research note. The analyst sees opportunity for Sci-B-Vac to compete effectively in the HBV vaccine market. Further, VBI's second asset, VBI-1901, is a therapeutic glioblastoma vaccine currently in Phase 1/2a that has generated "interesting" immune-response data in very late stage GBM patients, adds the analyst.
