FRANKFURT (Dow Jones)--Siemens Healthineers hat im zweiten Quartal wie erwartet deutlich weniger verdient als vor Jahresfrist, zeigt in den Kerngeschäften jedoch starkes Wachstum. Das bereinigte operative Ergebnis (EBIT) fiel mit 681 Millionen Euro um 30 Prozent geringer aus, wie das Medizintechnikunternehmen in Erlangen mitteilte. Die Einnahmen gingen vergleichbar um 2,5 Prozent auf 5,346 Milliarden Euro zurück, weil der Umsatz mit Covid-19-Schnelltests im Jahresvergleich um 674 auf nur noch 4 Millionen Euro zurückging.

Starkes vergleichbares Wachstum zeigten dagegen die Krebstherapietochter Varian (plus 27 Prozent) und das Geschäft mit bildgebenden Geräten wie CT und MRT (plus 12,7 Prozent). Bereinigt um das Testgeschäft verzeichnete Siemens Healthineers ein Wachstum von 11,2 Prozent.
