WALLDORF/PROVO (dpa-AFX) - Der deutsche Softwaregigant SAP macht Ernst mit dem Börsengang seiner US-Tochter Qualtrics. Der Anbieter von Marktforschungssoftware wolle an die Tech-Börse Nasdaq gehen, teilte Qualtrics am Montagabend in einer Pflichtmitteilung an die US-Börsenaufsichtsbehörde SEC mit.
Auf der Handelsplattform Lang & Schwarz legte die SAP-Aktie auf die Nachricht hin auf 107,75 Euro zu, 2,4 Prozent höher als der Xetra-Schlusskurs.
Die Aktien sollen für 20 bis 24 US-Dollar pro Stück verkauft werden. Als Wert des Börsengangs nannte Qualtrics 100 Millionen US-Dollar. Dieser Betrag dürfte aber nur ein Platzhalter sein. Die Investmentbanken Morgan Stanley und JPMorgan begleiten den Börsengang.
SAP hatte im Juli angekündigt, Qualtrics an die Börse bringen zu wollen. SAP hatte das Unternehmen vor gut zwei Jahren für acht Milliarden US-Dollar gekauft. Der deutsche Konzern könnte jetzt eine Gelegenheit nutzen, den Zukauf zu günstigen Bedingungen zu Geld zu machen.
In der Pflichtmitteilung legte Qualtrics offen, dass der Finanzinvestor Silver Lake am 23. Dezember zugestimmt hat, für 550 Millionen US-Dollar in einer Privatplatzierung Qualtrics-Aktien zu kaufen. Die Hälfte erwirbt Silver Lake zum Preis des Börsengangs, den Rest für 21,64 US-Dollar pro Aktie.
