Das japanische Unternehmen Panasonic Energy, ein Zulieferer für Teslas Elektrofahrzeuge, gab am Freitag bekannt, dass es mit dem australischen Materialhersteller Novonix einen Vertrag über die Lieferung von Graphit für seine US-Batteriewerke geschlossen hat.
Die Vereinbarung sieht vor, dass die Batterieeinheit von Panasonic über einen Zeitraum von vier Jahren 10.000 Tonnen Graphit aus den nordamerikanischen Werken von Novonix, u.a. in Tennessee, beziehen kann.
