m zweiten Quartal steigerte die Bank den Vorsteuergewinn um ein Drittel auf 1,55 Milliarden Euro. Analysten hatten in einem von der Bank selbst zusammengestellten Konsens mit 1,33 Milliarden gerechnet. Nach Steuern und Anteilen Dritter blieben 1,18 Milliarden Euro übrig.

FRANKFURT (dpa-AFX) - Die Deutsche Bank hat im zweiten Quartal trotz des schwierigen Umfelds überraschend einen weiteren Milliardengewinn erzielt. Dank guter Geschäfte entfiel auf die Aktionäre ein Überschuss von 1,05 Milliarden Euro und damit gut anderthalbmal so viel wie ein Jahr zuvor, wie der Dax-Konzern am Mittwoch in Frankfurt mitteilte. Das war deutlich mehr als von Analysten im Schnitt erwartet. Im ersten Halbjahr gelang dem Institut nach eigenen Angaben der höchste Nachsteuergewinn seit 2011.
Angesichts der gestiegenen Inflation und anderer Einflüsse wird Vorstandschef Christian Sewing mit Blick auf das Gesamtjahr jedoch etwas vorsichtiger. So werde es aufgrund des Umfelds herausfordernder, wie geplant eine Rendite von acht Prozent auf das materielle Eigenkapital zu erzielen./stw/mis
