Der Umstieg auf das Haufen-Laugen-Verfahren sollte bei steigenden Goldpreisen das teure und unterdurchschnittlich gehaltvolle Goldvorkommen Metates endlich in gewinnträchtige Zonen bringen. Die gestiegenen Energiekosten sollten bei dem neuen Verfahren weniger zu Buche schlagen. Das neue Management bringt neue Ideen und Schwung in die rein abwartende Taktiererei von Randy Reifel. Immerhin ist ein riesiger Goldberg da, Metates ist ja nicht wertlos, das sollte man nie vergessen! Auch wenn es teuer und schwierig wird, den niedrigen Erzgehalt zu meistern. Ein Goldpreisansteig von weiteren 20 % führt zur Kursexplosion des bisherigen Kostenloosers, der sich als ein hidden champ entpuppen kann.
