Ich setze mal auf Yum Brands.
Kentucky Fried Chicken veröffentlichte seine UK-Zahlen fürs Geschäftsjahr 2013: Die Revenues (Umsätze Eigenregie-Restaurants sowie Franchise-Gebühren) stiegen um 5,5 % auf 446,4 Mio. Pfund. Pre-Tax-Profit: 40,11 Mio. Pfund (Vj. 39,14).
Großbritannien ist für die US-Marke KFC mit Abstand der bedeutendste europäische Markt. Man zählt auf der Insel rund 800 KFC-Stores von insgesamt 1.800 in Europa. Will heißen, ein Anteil von gut 40 %.
Im Store-Ranking folgen die Länder Russland mit knapp 200 Einheiten sowie Polen und Frankreich. Auf Platz 5 dann Deutschland mit zwischenzeitlich über 100 Units und signifikanter Expansion.
Die System Sales von Yum! in Europa mit den beiden Marken KFC und Pizza Hut (insgesamt 3.300 Units) betrugen um letzten Geschäftsjahr gut 4,5 Mrd. Dollar (+ 7,1 % in Constant Currencies), machte umgerechnet 3,4 Mrd. Euro.
