Das Unternehmen habe in China im Bereich der Internet-Suche einen Marktanteil von über 61% inne. Nach Einschätzung der Experten dürften es westliche Suchmaschinen in China schwer haben, dort einen entscheidenden Teil des Marktes von sich zu überzeugen. Vor diesem Hintergrund würden die Chinesen vor allem über BAIDU.COM im Internet aktiv sein. Daraus ergebe sich ein sehr gutes Wachstumspotenzial für den Konzern.
