Der österreichische Faltschachtelproduzent Mayr-Melnhof (ISIN: AT0000938204) wird die Dividende um 3,2 Prozent anheben. Die Anteilsinhaber erhalten 3,20 Euro je Aktie, nachdem im Vorjahr noch 3,10 Euro ausgezahlt wurden. Beim derzeitigen Börsenkurs von 118,00 Euro entspricht dies einer aktuellen Dividendenrendite von 2,71 Prozent.
Die nächste Hauptversammlung findet am 24. April 2019 in Wien statt. Dividendenzahltag ist der 8. Mai 2019. Mayr-Melnhof erzielte im Geschäftsjahr 2018 Umsätze von 2,34 Milliarden Euro. Damit lagen die Umsätze auf Vorjahresniveau. Mit 217,1 Mio. Euro wurde ein betriebliches Ergebnis leicht über dem Vorjahr (2017: 215 Mio. Euro) erzielt. Die operative Margin des Konzerns erreichte 9,3 Prozent nach 9,2 Prozent im Vorjahr. Der Jahresüberschuss erhöhte sich um 5,9 Prozent auf 164,2 Mio. Euro.
Wie der Konzern am Dienstag mitteilte, hat sich die Nachfrage bei Kartonverpackung nach der Abschwächung im vierten Quartal des Vorjahres mit Beginn 2019 wieder normalisiert, jedoch ohne erkennbare Dynamik. Mayr-Melnhof berichtet von einer insgesamt guten Auslastung, bei jedoch anhaltend hoher Wettbewerbsintensität auf den Märkten.
