Walmart schüttet zukünftig 2,12 US-Dollar auf das Jahr gerechnet an seine Investoren aus. Zuvor wurden 2,08 US-Dollar bezahlt. Die nächste vierteljährliche Zahlung in Höhe von 53 Cents erfolgt am 1. April 2019 (Record day: 15. März 2019).
Seit März 1974, als der Konzern aus Bentonville im US-Bundesstaat Arkansas seine erste Dividendenzahlung in Höhe von 5 US-Cents bekannt gab, wurde die Dividende jedes Jahr angehoben.
