Langfristige Kaufkurse, Analysten uneins
NVIDIA, Spezialist für Grafikprozessoren konnte auch im 4. Quartal 2016 überzeugen, für 2016 lag der Erlös bei 6,91 Mrd. US-Dollar, 38 % plus im Vergleich zu 2015. Gründe für die gute Entwicklung sind wohl die starke Nachfrage in allen Geschäftsbereichen (Videospiele, Cloud Computing und selbstfahrende Autos). An der NASDAQ legte die Aktie (01-2016 bis 02-2017) um gut 270 % zu.
Fundamental ist der Wert inzwischen jedoch hoch bewertet. Die KGVs von 40 (2017) und 33 (2018) setzen hohe Gewinnschätzungen voraus.
Grund für den Absturz der letzten Tage sind einige Analysten, die den Wert von Buy auf Sell wechselten und deren Kursziel kassierten. Bei anderen blieb das Kursziel deutlich höher.
Ob NVIDIA den Wettbewerb mit Intel und AMD wirklich fürchten muss sei mal dahingestellt, kurzfristig sehe ich (technisch) Potential nach oben.
Langfristig sehe ich ein durchaus gutes Potential im Bereich Grafikchips für die virtuelle Realität Anwendungen und Mikrochips für lernende Maschinen und damit auch Potential auf Basis selbstfahrender Autos.
