Der Markt unterschätzt das Potential für die Gewinnmargen des Konzerns. Das iPhone etwa steuere mehr zusätzliche Einnahmen bei als ursprünglich erwartet. Außerdem verbesserten langfristig das bald auf den Markt kommende neue Betriebssystem Leopard, wachsende Umsätze der Apple-Läden und steigende Zahlungen des Telefondienstleisters und iPhone-Partners AT&T die Gewinne.
