Nach der Übernahme von Reynolds ist BAT nicht nur der größte börsennotierte Zigarettenkonzern der Welt, sondern auch Marktführer in den USA. Besonders interessant ist die Tatsache, daß nach dieser Übernahme nur noch fünf Konzerne den gesamten Weltmarkt weitgehend unter sich aufteilen. Für mich als langfristig orientierter Anleger ein Basisinvestment.

Kein Schnäppchen, aber Qualität hat nun einmal seinen Preis. Wie sagte Warren Buffet einmal:"Es ist besser ein großartiges Unternehmen für einen mittelmäßigen Preis zu kaufen, als ein mittelmäßiges Unternehmen für einen großartigen Preis".
