Eine zugegebenermaßen zwiespältig zu betrachtende Aktie. Zum einen die Zukunftsfantasie, saubere, selbst fahrende Fahrzeuge, leistungsstark mit großer Reichweite, apropos Reichweite, hierfür braucht man leistungsstarke Batterien. Der Markt bietet hier nur bedingt ausgereifte Lösungen, Tesla-Gründer Elon Musk plant aktuell seine eigene Batteriefabrik im US-Bundesstaat Nevada. Nun würden dort die Kosten erheblich höher ausfallen als ursprünglich veranschlagt. Zudem läuft der ursprüngliche Zeitplan aus dem Ruder, auch der Produktionsbeginn dieser „Gigafactory“ verschiebt sich nach hinten. Konsequenz? Unklar! Auf dem Papier läuft angeblich alles nach Plan. Die Kosten für den Bau wurden bisher mit 5 Milliarden Dollar angegeben. Aber stimmt das auch?
Wie verhalten sich die Aktionäre? Mit den letzten Quartalszahlen wurde erneut ein Verlust vermeldet, diesmal in Höhe von rund 293 Millionen Dollar. Das sind 60% mehr als noch vor einem Jahr. Ich würde hier eher Kasse machen wollen...
Für mich ein Sell, aber ob diese normalen Maßstäbe auch hier gelten, vermag ich nicht einzuschätzen.
