Miba ist im oberösterreichischen Laakirchen ansässig und fertigt Sinterformteile, Gleitlager, Reibbeläge und Beschichtungen. Die kommen neben Fahrzeugen auch in Zügen, Flugzeugen, Schiffen und Kraftwerken zum Einsatz. Rund 90 Prozent des Umsatzes von knapp 312 Millionen Euro wird durch den Export erzielt. Derzeit beschäftigt Miba gut 2.600 Mitarbeiter in neun Ländern auf vier Kontinenten.
