„Ein starkes Paketgeschäft zu Weihnachten hat der Deutschen Post 2014 ihre Jahresziele gerettet. Der operative Gewinn (Ebit) wuchs um 3,5 Prozent auf 2,97 Milliarden Euro und erreichte damit knapp die Mitte der angepeilten Spanne von 2,9 bis 3,1 Milliarden Euro, wie der DAX-Konzern am Mittwoch in Bonn mitteilte. Unter dem Strich verdiente die Post mit 2,07 Milliarden Euro etwas weniger als im Vorjahr, als ein positiver Steuereffekt den Profit nach oben getrieben hatte. Die Aktionäre sollen mit einer von 80 auf 85 Cent erhöhten Dividende an dem Erfolg teilhaben. Analysten hatten mit solchen Ergebnissen gerechnet.
