McDonald's hat seine Aktionäre mit einer Gewinnwarnung geschockt, so die Experten vom "ZertifikateJournal" in einer aktuellen Veröffentlichung.
In November seien die Verkäufe im Heimatmarkt um 4,6 Prozent eingebrochen. Weltweit habe der Rückgang 2,2 Prozent betragen. Analysten hätten lediglich mit einem Minus von 1,7 Prozent gerechnet. Deswegen, so das Management, dürften die Ergebnisse im Schlussquartal schlechter ausfallen als erwartet.
Fakt sei: Der Trend zur Gesundheit mache McDonald's schwer zu schaffen. Die Folge: Das Unternehmen schleppe sich eher müßig durch das laufende Börsenjahr. Umsätze und Gewinne würden bröckeln. Im dritten Quartal seien die Erlöse um fünf Prozent auf knapp sieben Mrd. Dollar zurückgegangen. Der Gewinn sei gar um 30 Prozent auf rund 1,1 Mrd. Dollar abgesackt.
