Facebook verwöhnt Aktionäre mit guten Geschäftszahlen. Doch die Investoren sind anspruchsvoll - die Enttäuschung über einen eingetrübten Geschäftsausblick überwiegt.
Facebook setzt sein Wachstum fort und verdient dabei mehr Geld als erwartet - das soziale Netzwerk profitiert stark von den begehrten Werbeeinnahmen im Mobilgeschäft. Im dritten Quartal lag der Nettogewinn bei 806 Millionen Dollar (633 Mio. Euro), wie das Unternehmen am Dienstag mitteilte. Das entspricht fast einer Verdopplung im Vergleich zum Vorjahreszeitraum.
Von Juli bis September konnte Facebook den Umsatz zum Vorjahr um 59 Prozent auf 3,2 Milliarden Dollar ausbauen und die Prognosen der Analysten damit übertreffen werden. Auch sonst gab es am Quartalsbericht eigentlich nicht viel auszusetzen: Die Werbeeinnahmen stiegen um 64 Prozent auf 2,96 Milliarden Dollar, bei mobilen Apps betrug das Plus sogar 66 Prozent.
