(Diese Empfehlung vom 07.03.2014 ist leider gestern abgelaufen, und stelle ich hiermit neu ein)
Die Stärke von Sonus sind Session Border Controlers.
Obwohl die Firma 2013 kaum Wachstum hatte, ist dieses Segment um 59% gewachsen, und macht inzwischen fast 55% vom Gesamtumsatz aus. Der SBC-Markt ist ein aktueller Wachstumsmarkt, denn Voice-over-LTE-Phones sind bei amerikanischen Mobilfunkprovidern der neueste Hype, wie man hier nachlesen kann. Dieser Markt wird erst ab diesem Jahr interessant, und die super Marktposition von Sonus könnte für viel größere Player wie Cisco eine echte Bedrohung sein. Deswegen "Übernahmekandidat" ;-)
