Die spanische Telefonica hat die Mehrheit der Telecom Italia übernommen. In Europa aber auch weltweit kirstalisieren sich einige große Player im Telekom Sektor heraus - Telefonica wird definitiv einer davon sein.
Erreicht der wirtschaftliche Aufschwung erst auch einmal die südlichen europäischen Staaten, so wird auch die Telefonica davon profitieren.
